ABOUT THE LAPHP GROUP
The Los Angeles PHP Developers Group (aka LAPHP) is a group of like minded individuals using PHP for web development. The goal of this group to grow our knowledge and exchange ideas. We often have talks and discussions about coding, tools, architecture, innovation and development process in general. We also encourage discussions not necessarily limited to PHP but to open sources and Web technologies in general to expand our members' horizons. If you are a PHP wiz and would like to present to the group, please feel free send a quick note to the organizer.
Our regular meetings happen at least once a month and feature a wide range of interesting topics and high profile presenters. Usually we meet at the CoLoft coworking space in Santa Monica, CA. However occasionally we meet at other locations as well. We also often have special meeting and joint sessions with our sister groups, whenever we are able to secure some great presentations.
The official web site for this group will be http://www.laphp.org/..., currently it is operated by Meetup.com
