We currently meet simultaneously in person and on line.
The in person venue is the Diogenes Makerspace which shares a building with the Collete night club. Our door is at the far left end of the building.

This is an informal gathering for anyone who enjoys talking about physics, whether you're a student, a hobbyist, a professional, or simply curious.

There is no scheduled presentation or fixed discussion topic. Conversations can naturally wander from quantum mechanics and cosmology to mathematics, engineering, programming, philosophy of science—or even completely unrelated topics. The goal is to enjoy good conversation with interesting people.

Rather than one large group discussion, we encourage people to form smaller groups based on shared interests. Don't hesitate to introduce yourself, join an existing conversation, or start a new one. If a discussion runs its course, feel free to mingle and meet someone new.

Whether you come to learn something, share something, make new friends, or simply enjoy an afternoon of stimulating conversation, you're welcome here. Every new perspective makes the conversation richer—the more, the merrier!

* Don't monopolize the conversation. Give everyone a chance to speak.

Meet other FPGA developers developers in the Austin area. We're happy to discuss any aspect of development but some of us are especially interested in finding better ways of helping beginners get up to speed.

We hold monthly meetings at the Diogenes Makerspace with both physical and virtual participation. Details are in each Event's description. In between meetings we hold conversations on a Discord server.
