Melbourne Entrepreneurs Pitch Club!

My name is Peter Christo, and I'm the organiser of the Melbourne Entrepreneurs Meetup Group.
We have been running this site for a few years now and have spawned both Pitch Club and the EEA from it, so thats an amazing result.

My cred’s are as follows;
• I am a Director of Pitch Club Pty Ltd, a national event and web site that connects entrepreneurs with business angels.
• I own and manage the Melbourne Coffee Review (melbournecoffeereview.com) a business that started as a hobby and now reviews cafes and coffee world wide, and has recently published a book and iPhone application.
• I am the President of the Entrepreneurs Association of Australia.
• I also lecture at RMIT on Entrepreneurship and am a mentor at VUT's Rural Entrepreneur program. I'm kind of part academic with some tangible runs on the board business wise.
• I speak at public and business forums on innovation, commercialization and entrepreneurship.
• I hold a masters degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation along with my Economics and Marketing Degree.

I love the meetup scene as it is the coalface of entrepreneurship, and I enjoy supporting people with ideas. I have also just set one of these up for Geelong and Ballarat.

The structure varies, but in most cases I arrange for up to 2 presenters tell their tale of woe, idea or strategy for eg: growth and the group then, over good coffee give them our views and ideas.

Given my role with Pitch Club, our activities dovetail into that also.

I hope you will support this group, and I look forward to meeting you at the next get together.

There is an annual charge associated with this group of $55 per annum. That gives you free monthly entry to any regular event and 25% off the major event and any other programs. If you are not a fee paying member, you can still attend events, but there will be a door charge.
