How do radio waves behave and why is it important when building a public WiFi network to understand their behavior? We'll talk about wave phenomena like reflection, refraction, diffraction, absorption, and refraction! You'll be surprised at how light, sound, and ocean waves behave so similarly and how we can harness these waves to carry data for us!

The goal of this series of talks is to inspire and educate residents and neighbors of the Hill District, enabling them to build their own public WiFi network along Centre Avenue. The lessons learned at this and other classes in the series will be instrumental in building a strong public WiFi network. All classes will be held at the Hill House First Source Center.

All classes are free.

Free food will be provided according to the number of signups on this page-so sign up! Questions about this or other classes in the Hill District can be directed to info@metamesh.org.
