I just posted yet another meetup for the group! This time: back to Church Brew Works. Keep reading for details...What
: Church Brew WorksWhen
: Wednesday, August 18,[masked]:00 PM
The group has been to Church Brew Works before, but it's about time we go back.
For those of you that haven't heard of this one, it's a repurposed old Church in Lawrenceville that now has a pub-sized brewery situated squarely at the altar. Some more religious types find it a little unnerving, but others find the dissonance to be a great pitch. The serve up two different menus. First, the dinner menu, which consists of some sandwiches but also some exceptional well-presented entrees. Alternatively, there's always a pub menu complete with wings and pizzas prepared in a pizza oven on the left of the altar.More Details

Of course, they also serve up a handful of different beer options--all brewed in-house. The style's tend to lean on the side of classic European styles but lately head brewer Brant Dubovick has been churning out some styles with a more American flare. I like the European styles, many of you like the American styles, and Church Brew Works is really a great place for us all to hang out.
We'll be gathering in the bar side of the restaurant, so veer left when you walk in. If you can't spot us immediately, just ask for the "beer meetup."
