For those in the Dallas area who interested in studying and developing a spiritual practice, founded upon sound reason and intuitive vision, with a sensitivity to mythology and aesthetics, we offer a place to discuss the ancient Platonic teachings of Plato, Plotinus, Proclus and Damascius.

The Platonic Tradition is one of the ancient schools of mystic spirituality in the Western world. It has a rich history and a vast literature, emphasising the cultivation of a contemplative vision and the development of personal excellence.

This meetup is a Reading Group, which seeks to learn what Plato's philosophy has to offer us in our understanding of ourselves, the universe in which we life, and the divine from which we obtain our being. We choose books and readings that are both inspirational and also instructive for our souls.
