Women of African and Afro-Hispanic descent (or affinity) who are interested in the indigenous religion of the Yoruba/Fon/Bantu People, and its variants in the Americas (Santeria, Voudon, Candomble, Lucumi, Obeah, Hoodoo).
To study, discuss, and build sisterhood around this ancient African religion, its history, beliefs, rituals, etc., with emphasis on devotion to the female deities; to learn and practice clothing design , cooking for Deities, Shrine building, ritual, singing, drumming and dancing.
Gatherings include public place meet-up, rituals and celebrations, private home gatherings, for learning and socializing.
