BRAZILIAN CARNIVAL DANCE WORKSHOP

This Brazilian samba workshop will focus on the diversity of Brazil’s rich samba styles. We will work hard on the fancy and fierce footwork of 'Samba No Pe', 'Samba de Roda', 'Pagode', and 'Batucada' and channel the elegance and charm of carnival dancers. This workshop is high energy and fun.

10:15 to 11:15 – Samba Class

11:30 to 12:30 – Fitness Brazil cardio dance workout

Professional dancer, Edilson Lima was born and raised in Brazil. He has been dancing since the age of 12 and has dedicated his life to teaching and performing. Edilson's dance background stems from ballet, jazz and modern dance. He is recognized for teaching Samba, Pagode, Lambada, Forró, and Batucada and also as a dance fitness instructor.
