SFPUG April: LISTEN/NOTIFY for great justice!

For our April meetup, open source developer Mischa Spiegelmock will present on LISTEN/NOTIFY.

Using a slightly obscure but awesome feature of Postgres as a real-time message queueing system, along with scalable web-based push events using websockets, nginx, Web::Hippie, AnyEvent and Perl.

We will also talk a bit about the beta of PostgreSQL 9.3, and how you can get involved with beta testing.

This presentation will be in the Wozniak Lounge, on the 4th Floor of Soda Hall at UC Berkeley. As always with Berkeley, parking prospects are poor so take BART!

IMPORTANT: enter the venue from the uphill LeRoy Street entrance. If you attempt to enter the building from the Hearst Street entrance, you may be unable to get in.
