SFPUG May: Mongo, Redis and Postgres

Details

For May's SFPUG, we'll have a one-two punch of people using PostgreSQL with non-relational databases.

Nelson Elhage of CC processor Stripe will present on MoSQL (https://github.com/stripe/mosql), a tool Stripe developed for live-replicating data from a MongoDB database into a PostgreSQL database. With MoSQL, you can run applications against a MongoDB database, but also maintain a live-updated mirror of your data in PostgreSQL, ready for querying with the full power of SQL.

Josh Berkus will also breifly demo the new PostgreSQL-Redis connector developed by his coworker, Andrew Dunstan.

postgres.heroku.com is our food sponsor for this event. Host your postgres app on Heroku.

NOTE: While the meetup is marked as "full", please put your name on the waiting list. If we get enough people on the waiting list, we'll move to a larger venue.
