SFPUG June: Crontabber manages ALL the tasks

Details

If you've had to sysadmin, one of the things you dream of is a relatively simple, centralized scheduled task manager which can track repeatable, must-run, and only-once tasks for all the servers on your network. Well, Peter Bengtsson of Mozilla has built such a tool; it's called, appropriately enough, "crontabber (https://github.com/mozilla/crontabber)", and it's built entirely in PostgreSQL and Python.

Peter will be explaining Crontabber to us at this special meetup, which will be shared with the San Francisco Python User Group. The meetup is sponsored and hosted by Mozilla.com.

The meetup will also be broadcast on Air Mozilla; details to follow.

We are also looking for 1 or 2 Lightning Talks to go before the main presentation. Please contact josh-at-postgresql.org if you're interested.

Meetup will be live online on Air Mozilla (https://air.mozilla.org/crontabber/)

Note: Enter from the main Mozilla entrance on Embarcadero.
