SFPUG City November 2015: Jim Mlodgenski on PostgreSQL Federation

Jim Mlodgenski will present a technical talk on using Foreign Data Wrappers (FDWs) to integrate PostgreSQL with other heterogeneous data environments, including Hadoop, Cassandra, and many others.

Location will be at Geekdom San Francisco by Rackspace. Light food and drinks will be provided.

Jim is CTO at OpenSCG, a leading PostgreSQL technology provider. He has been actively involved with the PostgreSQL community for more than 12 years. Prior to OpenSCG, Jim was CEO at StormDB, and was previously chief architect at EnterpriseDB. Jim also co-founded the New York and Philadelphia PostgreSQL meetup groups.
