SFPUG January 2016: What's new in 9.5?

Details

Our first San Francisco city meetup of 2016, hosted (and food provided by) Neustar.

Christophe Pettus will present What's New in PostgreSQL 9.5. There's a raft of features:

  • Conflict-resolving INSERTs (aka "UPSERT").
  • New GROUP BY features.
  • Row-level security.
  • Logical replication enhancements.
  • Block Range Indexes.
  • ... and more!

Christophe is CEO of PostgreSQL Experts, Inc., a specialized PostgreSQL consultancy.

Please RVSP! You will need to be on the security list for the building, and you might not be able to get in if you have not RSVP'd!
