Postgres on Amazon EC2!

Scalr.net will be hosting May's SFPUG meeting, which will be all about Postgres on EC2.

First, Christophe Pettus of PostgreSQL Experts will talk about "Running Postgres on AWS with Reduced Tears". He'll go over the tips and tricks of performance, redundancy, data retention and management while running PostgreSQL in the Amazon cloud yourself.

Next, Scalr will introduce the new version of their cloud management software with PostgreSQL support. Come see a demo and technical presentation about how their service works and how it helps you scale Postgres on inexpensive cloud hosting.
