This meetup focuses on exploring and creating tools which support powerful learning and teaching experiences. Part of each get-together will be dedicated to discussion and presentations, but the focus will be collaborative studio time for people interested in discussing and working on personal projects or proofs-of-concept, whether that's as simple as gluing together existing online services for homeschooling needs or building your own demos or making your own educational tools.

Really, this meetup grew out of a personal desire to carve out time to play with making and understanding how tools can support learning and teaching, and to find others who are in a similar boat. Whether you're a homeschooling parent or student; a teacher excited to create their own tools; or someone looking to work on cool problems in learning and teaching, anyone who is interested in making tools to support learning and teaching experiences is welcome!
