This meet-up has been traditionally aimed toward discussion of current affairs, from the state of Russia, to the recent violence in Kenya. We have many different ideas of invigorating the club, stay tuned for new announcements.
Our current events include:
1. Book Club: we pick books dealing with major issues in international affairs, either those that have shaped civilizations in the past or the generational challenges we face today. (for more details see the About Us section)
2. Discussion Groups: We pick a topic (recent topics have included current events in Russia, Columbia or more recently the violence in Kenya) and share our understanding and ideas.
3. Movies: I am working on arranging documentary viewings with the Donnel Collection.
Stay tuned for more ideas, and please share if you have any.
