The London Review of Books is celebrating their 30th anniversary by hosting a lecture series here in New York. The tickets normally cost $15, but we have been allocated up to 20 tickets for free on one condition, if you RSVP yes for this event, you definitely have to show up. If you cannot be sure you will attend, please RSVP maybe and then contact me on the day of the event to see if a seat is still available. (Please follow these rules so Prague Spring can maintain its relationships with sponsors who provide free access to their events.)

What lessons can we learn today from the Dreyfus Affair? What part does it play or should it play in the history of the Jews? Jacqueline Rose will offer a new interpretation of Dreyfus, while also investigating what the affair tells us about the public role of the intellectual and writer in our times.

Jacqueline Rose is a scholar and critic whose recent books include The Question of Zion and The Last Resistance.
