Meet other local progressive Muslims. Get together and discuss progressive Islam in a non-judgmental environment.
Meetups are on the first Saturday afternoon of the month at 4 pm.
Friday prayer:
The LA Progressive Muslim Meetup group gathers at 1 p.m. on the
third Friday of the month for juma prayer and spiritual conversation.
All are welcome. Attendees are invited in turn to lead the prayer,
regardless of gender. The gathering may include a participatory
khutbah, spiritual song, or shared personal reflections--depending
on the interests of those present. Come replenish your soul and help
shape our juma service.
