HAVE you experienced a traumatic event in your life that is keeping you from moving forward?

Do your friends and family keep telling you to get over it and move on but you seem unable to?

DID the traumatic experience leave you with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, nightmares, flashbacks and/or triggers

ARE you an abuse survivor or a victim of sexual assault or domestic violence?

DID you experience a life threatening event, such as a car accident, house fire, or natural disastor?

ARE you the victim of a crime, such as robbery, home invasion, assault?

WE CAN"T ALTER LIFE THREATENING EVENTS BUT WE CAN ALTER HOW THEY AFFECT THE QUALITY OF OUR LIFE

This self help group will allow you to join others in learning about ptsd and how to manage our new lives. I promise at each meeting we will learn a new coping skill to help manage the effects of trauma. This self help group promises to beyond actively listening to actively supporting.
My hope is to eventually create a " trauma tag team " composed of other survivors willing to help others as they regain control of their lives.

What members are saying

It is hard for trauma survivors to trust or even leave their homes as self isolation is very big on the scale. ...

The room is warm, so dress in layers.
