What are you working on right now?

Helping a new publishing venture, InTheBoombox.tv, get off the ground (http://www.intheboombox.tv)

How are you or your company using technology to create, analyze, and/or distribute content?

Too many to list!

Why did you join the Publishing Tech Meetup?

Stay current on relevant technology and meet other industry professionals.

What do you think the publishing industry will look like 10 years from now?

A very small number (<5) of giant "platform" providers that combine discovery, distribution and e-commerce, and a myriad of small, branded creators of content. "Big names" (e.g., John Grisham) will be independent businesses) and mid-list authors will be grouped in loose affiliations by subject, region, tone of voice etc. (let a million McSweeney's bloom).

Introduction

I'm a recovering corporate exec with extensive experience in converting legacy publishing workflows and outputs to new digital and social platforms.
