Announcing a new event for Pub Theology!

What: Pub Theology January Meetup

When: Wednesday, January 2, 7:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Who should come: You should attend if you can talk about religion without getting into a fistfight. Or if you're tired of religious people getting into fistfights. Or if you're tired of being blamed for fistfights you never started.

Why: We're fun. And we seek to be connected to the great chain of being. Singing doo-wop. Or through drinking a beer. Made by monks.

Event Description: First, the beer. We often order something holy or unholy, made by monks. If we agree, we can get a pitcher.

Individuals may introduce themselves and share their religious background. This doesn't take long, and we often offer condolences, as well as support.

Shared laughter is possible.

This week I suggest the broad topic of faith and the presidential election. Do you think faith should be important in politics? Does it matter to you? How does your faith affect your vote, if you do vote. Or are you praying for it all to end quickly?

I will not severely manage the topic. It might move all over the place.

At the very least, we'll have honest engagement with spirituality and faith over a beer, usually made by monks.

RSVP! Then you have a seat at the table.
