Subject: [pug-96] Photographing 1000 Pugs in a single year won’t be easy, but together we can make it happen.

Please go to http://1000pugs.com/ - send an email -See where it says show huge love for pugs? I think big groups are emailing her so we need lots of people to send in emails telling them to come to South Florida! It can be a simple email that says come to south florida and help Compassionate Pug Rescue!

We want our town to be part of the 1000 Pugs tour!  They have only kept five tour dates open for for us to get in on!
It doesn’t matter if you live in a big city or tiny town, the FIRST five destinations to show huge love for pugs will become official stops on the 1000 Pug tour.

Here’s a quick rundown of how the project works:

1000 Pugs will be partnering with pug rescues throughout the US and Canada for each stop on our tour. We’ll use our photography connections to scout some awesome locations, pick a date when the weather might be nice to us and open up registration a few months before the event. If at least 50 pugs join in, we’ll hop on a plane and photograph the local pugs.
A $10 donation from each pug’s sitting fee will be made to the local rescue for every pug we photograph on that stop of the tour.
Each pug photographed will be featured in the 1000 Pugs online gallery. Participating pug’s humans will also have access to a private online gallery to view, download and purchase images from their photoshoot.
1000 Pugs the book is planned for release in 2013 and will feature all 1000 pugs.

To become an official 1000 Pugs destination we have to:
- find a pug rescue willing to accept our donation  Compassionate Pug Rescue
- round up a minimum of 50 participating pugs
- provide a volunteer pug wrangler for the photo sessions
- live somewhere in the US
That’s pretty much it!
