I don't own a plane; I'm considering various timeshare/leasing options---part of why I want to connect with other pilots in the area.
Took my first lesson when I was 12. Love flying everything from hard IFR behind a glass panel to aerobatics in a bare-bones Decathlon. The highlight of my flying experience is a tie between tossing around an Extra 300 above the desert in SoCal for an hour and breaking out of a 400' overcast layer on my first ILS in actual.
Commercial MEL/SEL/IA with some aerobatic training and tailwheel experience. Have soloed a glider but wasn't able to finish the rating before I left NYC---it's on my to-do list. Also would love to get a seaplane rating some day.
Meet interesting people, get some recommendations for an excellent area glider club, and explore aircraft partnership and leasing options.
New transplant to the Seattle area from NYC. Had my first flight lesson when I was 12 in a C-150 and have been in love with flying for as long as I can remember.
