It is time to put the signs down and spend some time with our clients for an evening in the park. Grab a leash and your most well behaved canine companion for a potluck-picnic at Starr Jaycee Park!
Every August we celebrate another year of organized campaigning against puppy mills. This is our fourth year together! Public education is hard to measure, but we do know the Puppy Protection Act and Pet Lemon Law being introduced has put a new spotlight on our efforts.
I will provide lemonade and servingware. Please mark all non-vegan dishes (anything with animal product). Also, please no grilling – I hope I don’t need to explain.
Maggie and I look forward to celebrating with you again this year.
Rain Date: Sunday, August 26th 6:00 pm.
I choose this park not only because I was drawn to the heavily wooded area creating nice shady canopies, but because it is close to 75 and centrally located between our active member counties. I hope you like it too.
Maggie, my dog from the farm, will be joining us. She is looking forward to meeting everyone!
