Hi, my name is Nickole and I am the foster failure of two beautiful Yorkie mill rescues. After 3 years in a loving home they still show signs of the abuse they were forced to endure. I want to bring awareness to the public and put an end to mills.
I have 2 furbabies that were saved from being euthanized. Jada is a 12 yr old 5 lb Yorkie. When she came to us as a foster she was extremely food aggressive. She had chunks of her ear missing where she had been bitten while fighting for her food. She required surgery on her eye because it was damaged from a power washer. She would wake ready to fight at if any noise or movement took place. She bit my husband in the face because she was not use to a gently touch. Jada now sleeps on a satin pillow next to my husbands head. She no longer has any food aggression and sleeps so soundly that you can't wake her. Pistol is a 4 year old 5 lb Yorkie who had his vocal cords removed. He had been kept in a cage so small he was hunched over for months and never touched grass. We though he was deaf, but later discovered he was frozen with fear for the first few weeks. We adopted them both to ensure they spend the rest of their lives knowing they are loved and safe.
