Python IoT Hacking with XMPP

We have 10 raspberries http://iea.sust.se/2013/09/01/preparation-of-devkits/ on which we have some local IO's movement, relay,

The plan is to do.

• setup raspberry images on sd cards
• setup python XMPP library for IoT
• Use GPIO (the onboard hardware) to sense and control
• create xmpp accounts, makefriends,
• Use XMPP standard communication for interacting between systems XEP323,XEP325
• Make some distributed logic

What you need to bring:

• On every two person we need a laptop.

• Good faith and some knowledge of XMPP.org

• Have a look at the code beforehand if you want, on Github (https://github.com/joachimlindborg/SleekXMPP/tree/xep_0323_325/) look at the IoT examples.
