Allegrograph RDFStore, a database for the Semantic Web

Erik will share what he learned at PyCon about the Allegrograph database.  This database stores and manipulates graph structures (as in comp sci graphs -- vertices and arcs).  This can be used to support the Semantic Web.

From the website:

AllegroGraph is a modern, high-performance, persistent graph database. AllegroGraph uses efficient memory utilization in combination with disk-based storage, enabling it to scale to billions of quads while maintaining superior performance. AllegroGraph supports SPARQL, RDFS++, and Prolog reasoning from numerous client applications.

Sorry, I have to bow out this time. But AlloGraph looks very interesting.

I'm visiting Tampa next week, so this is perfect timing. I look forward to meeting everyone.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
