What we learned at PyCon 2012

Dan, Jason, and Phil recently attended PyCon 2012 in Santa Clara. In this meeting we'll hear about their findings from the conference, tutorials, and code sprints.

Some of the topics to be discussed are:

IPython in depth: high-productivity interactive and parallel python IPython web notebook: an awesome teaching tool Data analysis in Python with pandas Plotting with Matplotlib Intro to Predictive Analytics in Python with scikit-learn Django We'll have social/networking at 6pm, start the topic discussion between 6:30-8:00, and open discussion between 8:00-9:00.

We're meeting in the IdeaZone in the lobby at MOSI in Tampa (across Fowler Ave. from USF) and there is no charge for admission or for parking.
