PyLadies Meeting

  • Sep 18, 2013 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This month's meeting is at MailChimp, NOT BIG NERD RANCH. Kaitlin will be leading the meeting which is going to focus on a tutorial for manipulating images with Python. Please Note: Monthly meetings are open for all people who identify as FEMALE only, please. We do have co-ed hack nights and workshops on occasion, but our members prefer monthly meetings to be female-only at this point in time. Thanks!

Calling all women who are currently in, or who are interested in learning more about, the python programming language.  We get together once a month and discuss work that we've accomplished over the past month teaching ourselves Python (that hard way).

We are currently looking for more women who are well-versed in Python to help teach the language to current members. OR if you're a dude and you'd like to present a topic, feel free to email me or talk to me at the PyAtl meetings and we can work on that! Let's get more women interested in programming!

Our end goal is to have a group of women who can teach programming and python to others in day-long workshops once a month or every other month. First, we have to teach our current members.

If you know of any women who fit this description, or who are interested in learning more about python and programming in general, send her our way!

Hi ladies! Glad to hear there is a thriving community of females in the local area that are in the industry and are in to python specifically. Despite that, since I'm not invited to your events, do you know if there is a way for me to continue to get email invites from PyAtl as a whole but not receive invites to your meetings?

These invites are coming from PyAtl, because we're part of PyAtl. I'm not sure if Meetup will let you choose which notifications you get from a group, or not.
