Michael DeHaan

Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Michael founded the Ansible project in 2012 as a result of long-standing research interests and a need to simplify real-world server automation problems. Previously, as part of Red Hat's Emerging Technologies Group, Michael created and led the popular "DevOps"-friendly install server Cobbler and co-created the task execution system 'Func'. Michael has been developing systems management applications for over 10 years, and also brings experience from companies like Puppet Labs, Adaptec, and IBM.

Michael holds numerous patents in the areas of systems management and cloud and a B.S in Computer Science from NC State University.

    We will try to leave the door open if possible, and/or at least keep an eye out so no one is left out in the literal cold - last time it was rather dark back there as well...

    Best parking at Industry is at the back of the building off Dunbar. You can park in the Metrolina Baptist Association lot. The back door probably won't be open, but knock and someone will let you in.
