Quantified Self is "self-knowledge through numbers". Tracking, feedback, goals, little self-improvement projects, come share your experiences using technology for personal growth. Tracking your mood with your smart phone? Recording your workouts, diet and/or weight? Using a fitbit, zeo, or heart-rate monitor? Whatever it is, come share with others and learn from their experience as well. Or come just to watch - sharing not required if you're just curious to see what this is about!
If you are presenting, here's a quick tip: The three Quantified Self Questions are: What did you do? How did you do it? What did you learn? Remember, sharing is important and valuable even if you share your failures - you never know when someone else will be trying the same thing and you can help them avoid the mistakes that you made! We want to hear your personal stories, and that means really human things like struggling with motivation, experiencing setbacks, and hopefully, every so often, having a flash of insight!
7:00-7:30pm: informal networking
7:30-7:45pm: Eric will introduce QS, and then we'll do our quick "three words about yourself" introduction round. People who are interested in presenting something will raise their hands.
7:45-9:00pm: show and tell, people give brief (10-20 minute) presentations with extensive Q&A from the crowd
We have until 10:00pm to clear the space, so there is time to chat informally after the talks. Hope to see you there. Afterward, we'll be retiring to a nearby bar, The Charlotte Room, 19 Charlotte Street, to continue the conversation.
