QS Show&Tell #19 (Singularity University in Mountain View)

Get ready for the first Bay Area QS meetup since the blowout global conference! Join us July 19th for another night of self-tracking presentations, sharing ideas, and showing tools - but this time, with a few new elements.

IGNITE AND ENTREPRENEURS!

Not only will we be at Singularity University in Mountain View for the first time, but we will be doing the Show&Tell Ignite style! And Eri, our newest organizer, will be kicking off QS for startups, a new meetup group where startups and entrepreneurs can come to present their self-tracking gear and apps.

Tonight's Show&Tell is for everyone. Read: You do NOT need to be an entrepreneur to present! But, if you are, you can also present, and will have many opportunities in the future for it in the new group!

6 -7:30 pm SOCIAL HOUR AND WORKSHOP

Think: "science fair" for adults.

If you have a self-tracking project, gadget, app, or idea you'd like to share or demo, but you don't want to get up and talk about it, the workshop hour is perfect for you.

You don't need to have a prepared talk, or permission to show something. Just come and bring what you have. We will have tables and power strips where you can plug in a laptop if you like, but paper is good too.

Just to be clear, we save the talks for personal accounts of self-tracking and self-experimentation, rather than sales/investor pitches. But of course we are also interested in tools! If you are making something useful for self-trackers – software, hardware, web services, or data standards – please demo it in this workshop portion of the Show&Tell.
