QS Discussion Group #3

Well, our last discussion group was super interesting too! Philosophical debates, practical advice, sharing stories.

Let's keep it going, Tuesday lunchtime QS chats. Our moderator this time will be the wonderful Rajiv Mehta. We're inviting people to come with a question or challenge that they're having in their tracking, and the rest of the group can help solve it or offer input.

Of course you're welcome to come even without a question, we'd love to see you! As before, if a show&tell randomly happens, that's great, but we won't have slides or video or anything formal.

Please join us on Tuesday afternoon from 12:30-2 pm, at BioCurious in Sunnyvale. See you there!

Nice pace, great range of related, yet diverse topics including: vision glasses to record eye movements+subjects, how memory works, how memory is modified by remembering (Wired Magazine Article this month), chemical mechanisms of memory and potential for breaking bad ones-e.g. PTSD, EEG pros/cons, time perception depending on time of day/meal/metabolic factors; DailyBurn software to track, Need better comprehensive tracking apps, especially iOS and Android; acid/base tracking through urine, Guatamala as potential for people to self-test new, non-FDA approved drugs/therapies; successful two year mood cycle analysis yielding great results (Congrats A!)

Hi folks! Super excited about the discussion group tomorrow. Remember to bring your lunch if you like - we'll have water on hand to keep everyone hydrated. Bring a practical or philosophical question on self-tracking, or just come and be part of the fun. :) Alex
