Sucessful Launch/Lost Jacket

Quantified Selfers:

Thanks to all for making the trip to Pacifica.

I had no idea what to expect last evening. Is this QS idea too nerdy
and marginal and only appealing to crackpots? Or is it an idea that
will take over main street? I still don't know for sure but I do know
I was blown away by the energy and fire-power of the attendees last
night. I learned tons, and more importantly, I really wanted to hear
from each of you. Guess will have to do that again.

In that light, I am powering up the comment and forum capabilities of
the Quantified Self blog so we can continue the conversation between
gatherings. In a few days we should have these two functions
running. I will send an email ask requesting that you sign up for the
QS membership (yeah, another sign up) so you can post comments, and
initiate threads. We will also set up a wiki which will enable us to
post resources. We will continue to use Meetup to coordinate meetings.

And if you would like to post stuff to the blog, let Gary or myself
know. We can also blog stuff you send us.

Note: someone left behind a brown suede jacket. Contact me and we can
arrange to get it back to you.

It was a swell start.
