I grew up in the Whites, and started hiking when I was little. I stopped for a while in high school and after college and got back into it more when I moved back east from Ohio. I've done mostly 3 season hikes, but this past winter did a few day hikes. I try to get out at least once a month for either a day or an overnight. I love hiking in the Whites.
I like both day hikes and backpacking. I don't mind bushwhacking, but I have a horrible sense of direction.
I've restarted the 4,000 footers in NH, repeating many that I hiked when I was younger, and other than that, I'm just enjoying the outdoors.
The most difficult hike for me was coming down the Madison Gulf trail in a rain storm with a full overnight pack. Some of the spots were almost too tall for me.
Not a this time.
I moved to the area in November, and I am looking to meet people with similar interests. I spend most weekends playing ultimate frisbee, hiking, skiing, or canoeing.
