Hiking - usually 1-day or overnight - for about 5 years, moderate grade mountains, no rock climbing or ropes.
Day hikes, some overnighters with packs, likely not bushwhacking.
No specific goals for hiking; more related to fitting into schedules and the scenery of the hike.
Mount Washington was reasonable (good weather) however another hike (cannot remember the trip) was steeper in narrower paths in ice. Very cold and slippery both ways and strenuous in sweating profusely despite the cold.
May want to do after we experience some with the group and check times on other obligations.
My wife and I are active and enjoy hiking, cycling, backpacking usually on on-day, sometime overnight, trips, as well as cooking on the trips. We have been involved in Boy Scouts and related activities/ camping. Climbed Mount Washington 1 day.
Great bunch. Enjoyed meeting new folks and conversations while walking.
