What is your hiking experience? (e.g. how long have you been hiking, how often do you get out , where are some of your favorite places, etc.)

I've been hiking for a few years and most of my experience is with short (under 8), fast hikes. I try to get to the Fells 3-4 times a week for hikes/train runs. I've been to the Blue Hills a few times and love it! In terms of 4Ks, I've hiked Lincoln, Lafayette, Cannon, Washington, and Waumbek, and am excited to do more!

What type of hikes do you like best? (e.g. day hikes, overnight backpacks, hikes that may involve off-trail "bushwhacking", etc.)

Day hikes, steep inclines, rock circuits.

What are your hiking goals? (e.g. just like hiking, enjoy being outdoors, looking to finish one of the "lists", etc.)

I really like being outdoors, I like exploring, and I like physical challenges. I also like the wildlife I encounter when I hike, and I would love to see an owl. I'm getting gradually more interested in the 48.

What is the most strenuous/difficult hike that you have done? What made it so tough?

Mount Washington? Soooo bleak and misty in that last mile!

Do you have any outdoor leadership experience? Would you be interested in organizing and leading your own events with the Random Hikers??

Maybe at some point!

Hi, I'm an avid (local) hiker and trail runner. I spend a lot of my trail time in the Fells but have also been hiking some of the other amazing locations in the area, as well as in the White Mountains.
