What is your hiking experience? (e.g. how long have you been hiking, how often do you get out , where are some of your favorite places, etc.)

I used to hike with dogs in the woods as a job. I'm thinking of doing that part time again now that my school year gig is winding down.

What type of hikes do you like best? (e.g. day hikes, overnight backpacks, hikes that may involve off-trail "bushwhacking", etc.)

I really like walking on beaches. Does that count? I like the kind where we bust out the species id manuals.

What are your hiking goals? (e.g. just like hiking, enjoy being outdoors, looking to finish one of the "lists", etc.)

I just like to enjoy each outdoor experience. I find hiking more pleasurable when I just go out and notice what is around me that day.

What is the most strenuous/difficult hike that you have done? What made it so tough?

I have no idea. Probably when I had runaway dogs during the off leash hiking. You have one dog that just won't quit, and 13 others that are tired, hungry, and thirsty.

Do you have any outdoor leadership experience? Would you be interested in organizing and leading your own events with the Random Hikers??

I may eventually be interested in leading nature walks. I am really bad at organizing, though, unless it involves advocating for somebody else. I tend to shy away from taking on such responsibilities, because I tend to let balls drop. And then people are like, what happened to those balls that were in the air?

Introduction

I enjoy exploring nature and finding small creatures. I'm very much a stop / explore / photograph woods tromper, rather than a power hiking one.
