Deep Ellum Urban Gardens Building Day for Earth Day!!!!

Hello Fellow Gardeners,

We are very excited to announce DUG's 2nd workday for the building of the community gardens at 2620 Canton St!
It's time to start building our planters!

We will be meeting on April 22nd at 11am at the warehouse on Crowdus and Canton. Thanks to Dallas Cedar, we were able to purchase our cedar for the planters at an excellent price, and since they are also going to deliver the wood pre-cut to exact measurements, we should be able to get a lot done in a few hours of building.

I only need you to bring 2 things to this workday:

1. A pair of work gloves
2. A drill (If you don't have a drill, please try and borrow one. It can be a cord drill or cordless drill, because we will have power there on site.)

The gardens will be fully fenced and the slab for the entrance building will be poured! So, our 3rd workday will be framing the building, which will then secure the gardens allowing us to put these lovely planters on site.
