Are you a Connecticut entrepreneur who wants to turn your idea into an electrifying story? Or, maybe you just need a warm and supportive crowd to practice your storytelling skills?

Either way, if you join us on Thursday, May 29 in Hartford, you will leave with a story to tell.

This month, The Whiteboard Startup Roadshow is touring Hartford and we are joining forces with reSET, and AIGA Connecticut to host a live storytelling event and workshop. The event will run in three parts:

ART OPENING & STORYTELLING WORKSHOP

5:30-7:00P: See amazing art and meet Hartford-area artists while you partake in an informal storytelling workshop based on the theme, “How did I get here?” Mentors from AIGA Connecticut, and other area creatives will be on hand to provide pointers and give constructive feedback to help you prepare for the live storytelling session. During this time, brave souls will put their story in a fish bowl for the live storytelling session. LIVE STORYTELLING!

7:00-7:30P: reSET and The Whiteboard kick off the program, and introduce Amy Perry from AIGA Connecticut to discuss: “What makes a good story?”

7:30-8:30P: Singer/songwriter Kate Callahan tells our first story. People are selected from the fish bowl to tell their story in under 5 minutes. AFTERPARTY

8:30p: Wrap up and move to local Hartford haunt [location TBD] or continue telling stories!

Admission is FREE. Please RSVP so we have a headcount for happy hour fare.
