Investor Legal Troubles!

Steve Anderson, a long-time REAPS Member, graduated from the University of Washington in 1978 with a law degree and MBA. He has been practicing law in Seattle ever since.

Steve?s background is in civil litigation, business and real estate law. Additionally, he represents license holders of various kinds before their licensing boards and agencies. Steve has served in leadership capacities in the King County Bar Association and the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, and has presented on legal topics to various legal organizations.

He is listed in Who?s Who in American Law, and was awarded an ?av? rating by Martindale-Hubbell. (The ?av? rating is based on confidential recommendations from lawyers and judges and is the highest rating awarded for legal ability, adherence to ethical standards, professional reliability, and diligence.). He was the recipient of the Washington State Bar Association?s Courageous Award in 1998 in recognition of pursuing his client?s cause despite personal attacks on him and his family that were designed to intimidate him into dropping the case and leaving his client unrepresented. Steve has been a real estate investor since 2000 and a member of REAPS since shortly thereafter. He has 3 children, Jeff who just graduated from law school, Lauren who is a junior at UW & Alexa, a senior at Ballard High School.
