If you want a book club where we pick a book, have an outlined discussion and only talk about the book, this is not it!

Most BOOK clubs are of the "You must read this specific book to hang out with us" variety. Our club, on the other hand, uses whichever title we've picked as more of a jumping-off point and we end up discussing a whole slew of different books, authors, and genres. Sometimes, the subject just goes into an off the wall place. You never know what we end up talking about or doing. The conversations are lively and cover lots of ground. You don't even necessarily have to read the current selection to join the discussion. All you have to do is enjoy reading and feel like talking about it.

All centered around Long Beach, it's about meeting new people, finding you have something in common and going from there. If you are new in town, come on by.

We do field trips, find great places to eat or drink, catch a movie that was based on a book, and just have a good time. We are open to any ideas you have.
