To affirm the blessings of universal abundance, the Atlanta Reiki Community promotes cooperation instead of competition. By working together to help each other grow, we help ourselves grow.
We embrace and support fellow participants and practitioners in our Reiki communities. We choose to see them as positive influences that encourage and support us to live to our fullest positive potential. (Please note that "practitioner" does not infer that these members practice Reiki as a professional. The term is merely used to differentiate members who have been attuned to Reiki.)
The Atlanta Reiki Community is here to provide tools and events that help participants and practitioners achieve their individual and collective goals. The three main areas of this site are:

In addition to posting meetups for Reiki events occurring throughout greater Atlanta, the Atlanta Reiki Community hosts two types of Reiki shares each month.
- Our PUBLIC REIKI SHARES, open to everyone, are designed to help people learn about Reiki as well as experience giving and receiving Reiki energy. Everyone is welcome to attend and no previous experience with Reiki is required. These Reiki shares are an excellent opportunity for participants *and practitioners to meet in person.
- Our PRACTITIONER REIKI SHARES are exclusively for people who have received Reiki attunements (regardless of certification level and lineage). These Reiki shares are designed to help practitioners 1) deepen their connection to Reiki energy through meditation, 2) broaden their knowledge of Reiki techniques, 3) receive Reiki energy from other attuned practitioners, and 4) grow their Reiki network.

Our calendar is where you can learn about Reiki events that are happening throughout metro-Atlanta. Practitioners are encouraged to advertise their Reiki classes, Reiki exchanges, and other Reiki-based events and gatherings. Our member directory is designed to be a central resource that helps Reiki participants and students connect with Reiki practitioners get connected and everyone to build their Reiki networks.
- PARTICIPANTS: As a participant/student, you can quickly identify the Reiki practitioner/instructor who is right for you. Simply browse the titles of our members, click on any member to learn more about them from their profile questions, and then contact them to learn more. We are confident this will help you find the practitioner who is right for you!
- PRACTITIONERS: As a practitioner/instructor, use the questions on your profile to advertise your certifications, experience, specialties, location, hours, and contact information. We are confident this will help you let our Reiki communities know more about you and your experiences with Reiki.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a simple technique that anyone can learn. It is not dependent on intellectual capacity and requires no prior experience with healing, meditation or any other kind of training. The ability to channel Reiki is simply, almost miraculously passed from a Reiki master teacher to student during a peaceful attunement process. Once attuned to this force in an introductory Reiki class, students can easily channel life-force energy to themselves and others through their hands. There are several levels of attunements along the way to the Master level. Each confers an increasing ability to channel this energy.
