When scaling and making a fault-tolerant system, the data persistence layer is almost always a single point of failure.

I'll will be looking into some theoretical ways to solve this problem, as well as existing solutions.

I’ll then be showing Skiff, Sombrero and also, time permitting, some gossip protocol implementations, all in Node.js.
