Are you writing a book or thinking about it? Are you published or wanting to publish? This group is for you if you are a writer at heart, regardless of where you are in your writing career and progress. I'm starting this group because I'm writing a non-fiction book, and I want to create a community of writers who will share their work and critique mine and each other's. The format I envision goes something like this: Who ever has material can either read their own out loud to the group or ask someone else to read it to us. Then we all pitch in with comments and questions with the aim of improving the writing. Depending on the size of our group, we can read anywhere between 1,000 words to 2,500 words per person, and delve into the critique. I've been part of groups like this before, and found them extremely helpful for my writing.
