Introducing the Android Development Kit (adk) and showing developers how easy it is to control physical objects with your Android device.

Target Audience

Android developers interested in crossing the boundaries of virtual software development and learning how to hack and control physical objects.

Requirements

An Android device running 2.3.4 or higher USB cable Laptop with: Android SDK (including Platform 2.3.3, API Level 10 or higher) (http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html) Arduino IDE for ADK 2011 (http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software) Arduino IDE for ADK 2012 (http://developer.android.com/tools/adk/adk2.html#dev-setup) Arduino libs (https://github.com/amirlazarovich/codelab-adk-leds/tree/master/Arduino/libs) - Copy these libraries to [arduino_installation_root]/libraries/ Eclipse (http://eclipse.org/mobile/) + Android plugin (http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing/installing-adt.html)/Intellij (http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/)/etc. References
