Meet other local writers and let creativity bloom! Come to a Writers Meetup to trade literary tips, make friends and have fun! All writers and should-be writers are welcome! Come and socialize with other creative like-minds around the lower mainland. Those involved/interested in Creative Writing should come! This may include (but not limited to): Creative Non-Fiction, Fiction, Novel or Short Story, Children's Literature, Screenwriting, Poetry, Stand-Up Comedy, etc.
We have our monthly social meeting in Maple Ridge as well as occasional "satellite meetings" held in the Tri-Cities. Please check the calendar for upcoming days and times. Our message board is also a great resource for information on what goes on with the group as well as various events around the lower mainland.
We are a relaxed group where we chat and give each other encouragement/support while having a cup of java. Unless stated in the calendar or the meetup page, there is no formal agenda. I will do my best to bring announcements related to writer's events (i.e. workshops, etc.) but I cannot guarantee who will be attending that is directly linked to the industry unless otherwise specified.
