New SQL Databases

NoSQL has now become a very popular topic but a new class of databases has been emerging for the last years trying to fill the gap between traditional relational databases and NoSQL ones. They are known under the “NewSQL” term. The purpose of this talk is just to describe this new family and pick few of them to talk about the choices, the advantages, the limitations and the compromises that they made to achieve scalability and ACID guarantees.
