Pitch Night!

Pitch Night=Great, entrepreneurially-minded friends+adult beverages+tasty food+an awesome venue+an opportunity to work on improving our elevator/escalator pitches.

No matter what you sell or what stage your business is in, a strong pitch is a critical foundation for your success. Pitch right and you can sell anything to anyone. Pitch wrong, and you can have the best product in the world and you might not be able to make anyone care...

TRACKS:
Two tracks are planned, one for the "cocktail party" pitch to potential clients, and one for a more formal pitch to potential investors or business partners.

FORMAT:

5-10 minute opening presentation with a pitch-related topic

2 minute (max) pitches on either or both tracks followed immediately by 2 min (max) critique from three angles: 1) branding; 2) business acumen; 3) public speaking

Hopefully the opportunity to do it all again to apply critique or do something different.

A closing 5 minute presentation with a few points to think about for our next pitch night (yes, we will be doing this all again soon)!
