Got a Sunday afternoon free?

Terry M.
Manchaca, TX
Post #: 76
After a talk with our group, we decided it would be worth it to open up the group we have to visiting players.
Not out of any elitism, but simply because it's so damned hard to find people who haven't gone on to 3rd Edition and beyond (great system, we just chose to stop at 2nd and incorporate what we like about 3rd).

If any of you find yourself with a Sunday free, and want to come visit (does NOT have to be permanent, no commitment) and are willing to create a character for the game (short process), you'd be welcome with a day's notice by email (

Mind, it is Second Edition, slower paced, and the campaign is heavy into RP vs. combat, so there have been sessions where not a single thing has been killed, nor treasure found, despite having a lot of fun. But the campaign is constantly evolving, changing due to kind players who share ideas and help change it to match their hopes and goals.

Come help shape it further, or just hang out for a Sunday afternoon, 1 pm to 6 pm, South Austin (directions upon RSVP). We'll always keep a chair open for visitors, and co-DMs can even come for a period to help run things.

For those who don't know me, can't blame you. Came to some of the early meetings, and now just serving as group secretary while you guys do the real work. We just topped 600. Keep them entertained, folks.
